Meeting Ivy for the first time was very exciting for some and scary for others. Porter knew just what to do and was more than ready to hold the baby sister he had been talking to for the last 9 months. Eva was more than a little nervous. She was VERY scared to touch her or anything!!!

Holding Ivy
Everyone LOVES to hold Ivy. It still makes Mom nervous, but it's such great bonding time.
Welcome Home Ivy
After only 24 hrs in the hospital, Mom and Ivy came home to be with the whole family.
Ivy Arrives
We wanted to be induced on Sunday, but they kept bumping me b/c they were too busy with births. I was so worried that Amber would leave before the baby came and we wouldn't have anyone to help with the kids. Luckily on Tuesday night I woke up at 10:00 pm with some contractions. We went to the hospital and had to walk the halls until 2:00 am before they would give me a bed. They broke my water at 5:00 am and Ivy came at 5:40 am.

A New Carr!!!
Happy Halloween
So here we go. This is our first entry into blog territory. Let's start off slow. Nothing controversial, nothing incendiary. Hillary is Satan, global warming is overrated, the UN is outdated and should be dissolved, and I have some cool new shoes.
Now on to the snazzy pics!
Porter and Eva were so excited to decorate their pumpkins. Dad's in charge of the gooey carving mess, so these are the pumpkins Mom did with the kids. We used markers, paint, and a lot of rhinestones. We had the snazziest pumpkins around!!

We were a pretty scary crowd this year. Dad was Darth...somebody or other, I think he just likes the title of "Darth". Then we had Spiderman and a Spanish Princess. As soon as Porter put on his Spiderman outfit, he put his hands on his hips and said "Duh, duh-da, DAH!" Amazing how he already has his own musical introduction. Eva LOVES her "Lady bug dress" and spent the whole night dancing for anyone who opened the door. It was awesome!!
Our Spanish Princess was not afraid of a kiss from death this night. She thought Dad's "dress" was beautiful. After her first "compliment" I think Dave felt a lot less scary!
